Dr Zosimo dos Santos first obtained a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of New South Wales before graduating with a Masters of Chiropractic degree from Macquarie University in 2001.
Zosimo then began practising in a number of different clinics in Sydney and Wollongong, learning and honing different styles and techniques of chiropractic care. He continues to keep abreast of developments in health care and chiropractic techniques by attending regular seminars, conferences and courses. He is also a member of the Chiropractors’ Association of Australia.
In 2006, Zosimo decided to set up practice in Enmore, a place he is familiar with and is fond of, having attended school and grown up in the Inner West. He relishes the vibe and colour of the Inner West, particularly Newtown. It is fantastic to be part of this inclusive community and to feel that everyone is accepted here and is able to express their individuality.
Zosimo first thought of becoming a chiropractor after receiving chiropractic treatment as a teenager for a lower back injury sustained whilst playing tennis. It was in those formative years that the idea of pursuing chiropractic as a profession was first instilled in him, as it would be a fantastic way for Zosimo to also help others with injury or in poor health, and with the help of chiropractic care, they too, would again return to all the fun activities they always loved and enjoyed, just like Zosimo.
Zosimo continues to be fortunate enough to enjoy many outdoor activities, with one of his favourites being football (soccer), playing locally for Marrickville Football Club. When not kicking a football around, he enjoys bushwalking and has also dabbled in Latin dancing, although having two left feet has made this activity a little challenging, but he continues to persist.
Zosimo takes great pride in the work that he does and there is nothing more gratifying than when a client returns to good health and is again able to enjoy the things he or she once enjoyed doing, whether it is participating in outdoor activities, returning to work injury-free, going on with normal life, doing the shopping or looking after the kids. To Zosimo, there is simply nothing more fulfilling than helping someone achieve this through his work.
If you have succumbed to injury or just feel like your body could do with a good ‘tune up’ to help you function better and to enable you to do all the things you most enjoy doing in life without pain or discomfort, please call Zosimo. He would be delighted to be given the opportunity to help you get back on track to live your life to the fullest again.
